Dr. Wil Schuler
Dr. Wil Schuler is a graduate of Kansas State Univeristy (1987) and joined the practice right out of veterinary school. His interests include dairy herd health, milk systems analysis, reproductive ultrasound, and beef cattle medicine. He enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and family time.
Dr. Jen Rediske
Dr. Jen Rediske is a graduate of Iowa State University (2003) and joined the practice the same year. Her focuses include bovine embryo transfer, dairy herd health, reproductive ultrasound, cow calf medicine, and bovine medicine. She enjoys helping her husband on their beef farm, baking, waterskiing, sports, and spending time with her two kids.
Dr. Cal Schafer
Dr. Cal Schafer is a graduate of Kansas State University (1976) and joined the practice in 1976. He provides service to a broad range of species with interest in feedlot medicine, cow calf production, camelids, equine preventive and diagnostic medicine as well as companion animal medicine. Dr Schafer works out of our Galena facility. He enjoys civil war history, antique cars, golf and spending time with his family.
Dr. Christy Moris
Dr. Christy Moris graduated from UW Madison in 2012 and joined the practice straight out of school. Her interests include companion animal preventive medicine, critical care, surgery, and bovine medicine. She enjoys baking, gardening, being outdoors, and fishing with her husband.
Dr. Lisa Kelly
Dr. Lisa Kelly is a graduate of the University of Illinois (2001). Her interests include small animal preventative medicine with a special love for cats. Dr. Kelly enjoys camping, gardening, ice skating and spending time outdoors with her family.
Dr. Katie Majerus
Dr. Katie Majerus is a graduate of UW-Madison (2014) and joined Veterinary Associates right out of school. She is excited to be a mixed animal practitioner, but her primary interests include dairy herd health, bovine medicine, and reproductive ultrasound. She enjoys spending time on her family’s dairy farm, snowboarding, hiking, and spoiling her Labrador, Gus.
Dr. Greg Adams
Dr. Greg Adams is a graduate of UW-Madison (2014) and joined the Veterinary Associates team straight from school. He has interest in bovine and equine medicine. Dr. Adams is from Platteville, Wisconsin, and currently resides in Cuba City with his wife, Brittany and their three dogs Rocky, Jessie, and Madison. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, watching movies and spending time with his wife.
Dr. Katherine Dovenberg
Dr. Katherine Dovenberg is a graduate of Iowa State University (2019) and joined Veterinary Associates team straight from school. Her interest are mixed animal medicine.

Kyle Redington - Practice Manager
Diane Heller - Receptionist
Diane joined Veterinary Associates in 2002. Diane lives in Galena with her husband where they raise steers. She is a mother of 6 and grandmother of 12! Diane enjoys shopping, babysitting the grandchildren, and spending time with friends.
Sharon Watters - Part-time Receptionist
Sharon joined Veterinary Associates in 2003. Sharon owns and operates a dairy farm just outside of Hazel Green which keeps her busy. Sharon lives on the farm with her husband and two daughters.
Jean Johll - Veterinary Assistant
Jean joined the staff of Veterinary Associates in 1978 as a Veterinary Assistant. Jean completed the Professional Animal Care Specialist Program of the Professional Career Development Institute in 2007. She and her husband live in Hazel Green with their three cats, Driver, Sissy, & Tessy. Jean is an avid Packers Fan and enjoys camping in Hayward, WI, fishing, and golfing.
Mary Hofer Furlong - Receptionist
Mary joined the staff of Veterinary Associates in June of 2008. She lives in Cuba City with her husband Shawn Furlong and their three cats, Larry, Charlie, and Sydney. Mary spends her free time using her Arts degree painting signs, logos and houses. If you notice little changes around the clinic, like the fire hydrant outside and the dog bone fence, Mary is probably to thank!
Kim Winter - Receptionist
Kim joined the Veterinary Associates team in December 2012. She obtained an online Veterinary Assistant certificate in 2003. Kim has two children, Aly and Will, and lives in rural Galena. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, helping on the farm, baking, and showing cattle.
Danille Jakes - Certified Veterinary Technician
After graduating from Gateway Technical College with diplomas for Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician, in 2017, Danille moved from her southeastern Wisconsin roots to join the practice. She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, and has a strong passion for laboratory analysis, surgery/anesthesia, and dentistry. Currently, she is enjoying her new adventure in life on her boyfriend’s farm in Apple River, IL. In her free time she helps on the farm, and spends time with those close to her.
Kate Koester- Certified Veterinary Technician
Kate received her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Kirkwood Community College in 1994. She started working as a Veterinary Technician in the Galena area that same year. She has a special interest in dentistry and enjoys providing nursing care and client education. She lives in rural Scales Mound with her 3 children. They share their home with dogs, cats, horses and a variety of fowl. In her free time Kate enjoys being outdoors, watching her children play sports and spending time with family and friends.
Kerry Wild- Veterinary Assistant
Kerry has over 25 years experience in the veterinary field, with large and small animals. She has worked in many states, including Wyoming. In her spare time, Kerry and her fiancé enjoy Rodeo, Team Penning, Sorting, Hunting, Fishing and the outdoors. Her pets include a yellow lab named “Max”, a Blue Heeler named “Remy”, a cat named “Lil Fellar” and 6 horses.
Lacy lives in the Galena clinic and can often be seen prowling the reception area. Lacy tends to keep more to herself though she is often outside and sometimes jumps in client cars! We are often asked if we are "missing a grey cat" when clients see her walking around outside the clinic.
